Want to know how to apply for admission to Temple Christian School? Read the information below to learn more about our admissions process and requirements.
Students are eligible for entrance into Temple Christian from the age of three, once they are fully potty trained and can communicate clearly. Students entering K3 & K4 are not required to sit an entrance exam.
Prospective students interested in enrolling from Kindergarten to Grade 6 are required to complete a grade-level entrance examination, which incurs a $25.00 fee. The school seeks students who meet its academic criteria and notes that it may not have the resources to support students with special educational needs, significant learning difficulties, or severe emotional challenges.
The entrance exam forms part of the admissions process. Applicants are required to complete an entrance examination application and pay a non-refundable fee of $25.00. The administration determines the dates for entrance exams for prospective students. Candidates must arrive at the high school by 8:30 a.m. to sit the examination and must wear their respective school uniforms. They are also required to bring two pens (black or blue), two sharpened pencils, and a geometry set.
The registration process begins once the student has successfully passed the entrance examination. A registration fee of $50.00, a seat fee of $300.00, and a capital development fee of $400.00 are required of all new students. These fees also apply to students who previously withdrew from the system and are seeking re-enrolment.
We extend a warm and hearty welcome to Temple Christian School, where educational excellence meets Christian values. For over four decades, our institution has been a beacon of high-quality Christian education in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
