New high school principal appointed for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Temple Christian School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Cassandra D. Smith as High School Principal for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Mrs. Smith is a highly accomplished educator and administrator with more than thirty years of experience in the field of education. Her career has encompassed a variety of leadership roles, including Director of Academy Affairs and Principal at Kingsway Academy, English Instructor and Grant Writer at New Providence Classical School, and Adjunct English Instructor at the Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute. Mrs. Smith’s extensive background in curriculum development, staff leadership, and school administration has consistently contributed to the advancement of academic standards and the enrichment of school communities.

Mrs. Smith holds a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University. She has also completed numerous professional certifications in teaching, curriculum design, and educational leadership. Her commitment to professional growth is further demonstrated by her active participation in national and international educational organizations, including the Association of Christian Schools International and the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

Throughout her distinguished career, Mrs. Smith has demonstrated a passion for student achievement, faculty development, and community engagement. She has played a pivotal role in the implementation of innovative programs, the enhancement of school culture, and the promotion of academic excellence.
