On Monday, March 11, 2024, Temple Christian High School 10th grader, Mateo Newbold, and Temple Christian High School Class of 2023 graduate, Ian Cheng were recognized by the Ministry of Education and Technical and Vocational Training for their excellence on the 2023 Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) and Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Examinations (BGCSE) respectively.
Mateo has consistently excelled in academics as a student at Temple Christian High School.
We salute Mateo for having achieved 8As and 2 Bs and congratulate him, his teachers, and his family for this exceptional scholarly achievement.
Similarly, Tai Cheng has been a consistently high academic performer during his time at Temple Christian School. Last year, he was honored as the salutatorian of the graduating class.
As a testament to his academic achievements, Tai was invited to be the featured speaker at our 2023 Fall Honors Assembly.
Tai is the son of our very own faculty member and computer teacher, Mrs. Felita Cheng. We congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Cheng and their entire family for their son’s success.
